Dessert First

The sweetest event in South Texas, Dessert First, benefiting the 17,000 girls and adult members of Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas will be held Tuesday, August 13th at the Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Edinburg Conference Center in Edinburg.
Celebrating the inaugural Dessert First Event, the fundraiser will challenge chefs from all across the Rio Grande Valley to create desserts featuring famous Girls Scout Cookies. Desserts will be judged by a panel of special celebrity judges as well as guests.
The night’s festivities will included…
· Dessert Tasting – enjoy Girl Scout cookie inspired desserts prepared by amazing chefs representing restaurants from all over the Rio Grande Valley!
· Heavy hors d’oeuvres
· Wine and beer
· Silent Auction
· Girl Scout’s inspiring stories and campership countdown – Donations support Girl Scout experiences for girls.
The event will join hundreds of members of the corporate community as well as individuals who love great food and share a commitment to help girls reach their full potential.
