DESCRIPTION:The 5K Color Walk/Run for RGV Scholarships is an event for the whole family. It was created to help raise College Scholarship funds to be awarded to kids throughout the Rio Grande Valley. It is also a special way to get our community together\, celebrate life and encourage Family Fun! \nThe proceeds raised from this event will also be used to honor our community’s first responders and will benefit and support Hidalgo Masonic Lodge’s “Backpacks for Kids” program\, which was created to provide backpacks and school supplies to children of families going through financial hardship. \nThis family-friendly event will include a 5k and 1-mile run/walk\, followed by raffles\, music\, contests\, and More Fun. \n$10 Kids / $25 Adults Includes:\n– Event T-Shirt\n– 5k Medal\n– Raffle Entry\n– Other Goodies\n– A Really Good Time \nSpaces\, T-Shirts\, and Medals are Limited.
